The 2nd Annual Southside STEAM Expo will be held on Saturday, March 21 at the Coweta County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall & Agricultural Building.
The purpose of the Southside STEAM Expo is to encourage students to be more interested in the STEAM subject areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math by providing exhibitor booths with fun, hands-on, interactive activities. Students will also be exposed to various career fields that utilize skills in the STEAM subject areas.
Organizations like Zoo Atlanta, Savannah College of Art and Design, University of West Georgia Physics Department, the National Weather Service, Georgia Reptile Society, Cochran Mill Nature Center, Bubbles and Brushes Art Studio, Southern Crescent Storytellers, Newnan Coweta Art Association, and several others will be present.
