Atlanta: PNC Bank’s Skate Atlantic Station

This 10,000 square-foot, open-air ice-skating rink is a track-style rink with dazzling lights and holiday decor. With it’s addition to the 2013 Atlanta holiday scene, it becomes now the 6th outdoor rink option.

Place: Skate Atlantic Station, District Street between 17 1/2th and 18th Street, Atlanta

Cost: $13 for adults; $10 for kids under 5, seniors, and those with valid military or student ID


Atlanta: Ice Skating Rink @ Centennial Olympic Park

Celebrate your family holiday tradition in Atlanta with Centennial Olympic Park Outdoor Ice Skating Rink where kids will enjoy ice skating with theatrical lighting on the real ice and holiday music. Be sure to check out the Holiday Market, located on Great Lawn North adjacent to the rink, on opening day.  Holiday Market is November 23, 2013 from noon-4p.m. Centennial Olympic Park’s annual holiday in lights kicks off for daily viewing on November 23.

Atlanta: Southwest Rink @ Park Tavern in Piedmont Park

The Southwest Rink offers modern amenities for day and night skating, including a heated tent, a state of the art sound system, and rink-side dining. The Southwest Rink has the best leather hockey skate available made by Bauer. This skate is perfect for the beginner or someone who is just getting back on the ice. Classes are also available for purchase for ages 3 and up- group and private.

Buford: Verizon Wireless Ice Skating Rink @ Lake Lanier Islands Resort 

Returning this year is the Verizon Wireless Ice Skating Rink at the Magical Nights of Lights Holiday Light Display at Lake Lanier Islands. Perfect for large and small groups alike, this new outdoor ice skating rink in Atlanta is the perfect addition to transform your experience into a Winter Wonderland!

Located towards the back of the lights display, Holiday Village offers a welcome stop to stretch the legs.  Enjoy a carnival midway, bonfires and marshmallow roasting, pony rides, and even Santa.At Holiday Village is where you will find the Ice Skating Rink.

Conyers: Olde Town Conyers Ice Skating

The Have an Ice Day production returns to Olde Town Conyers for a family fun outdoor ice skating at Conyers. This has the claim to fame of being the only indoor/outdoor ice skating rink in the Southeast.

Atlanta: Astor Holiday Ice Skating Rink @ St. Regis

The Astor Holiday Ice Skating Rink harkens back to the elegant era of the distinguished Astor family who founded the flagship St. Regis New York in 1904. Under the warm glow of twinkling lights, glide around the exquisite ice rink to sounds of holiday melodies and enjoy seasonal favorites including hot cocoa and s’mores.
