1. Gardens for Connoisseurs @ Atlanta Botanical Garden

Place: Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE Atlanta, GA30309

Cost: $25 Advance Tickets. $30 Day of Tour, $10 Individual Garden Admission, Children under 12 Free

From tranquil woodland settings to intimate urban spaces, explore exquisite design and enchanting planting ideas by talented landscape designers and homeowners. The Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour includes eight private gardens and a special bonus garden. Ticket holders also receive free admission to the Atlanta Botanical Garden on tour days from 5 – 7 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

2. Mother’s Day Brunch @ Georgia Aquarium

Place: Georgia Aquarium, 225 Baker Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA
Date: May 8 (Sunday)
Time: 10:30AM & 1PM
Cost: Adult – $75, Seniors (55+) – $70, Children (3-12) – $40 (Sales tax will be added. Prices include general admission.)

Georgia Aquarium is thrilled to offer our Annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 8, 2011.  Whale sharks, Manta rays and beluga whales provide a memorable backdrop as guests dine in the Aquarium’s breathtaking Oceans Ballroom.  Following brunch, enjoy a fun-filled day exploring the Aquarium with family.

Brunch seating times are 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Executive Chef Gregg Brickman of Wolfgang Puck Catering will be serving an incredible, mouthwatering menu featuring everyone’s brunch favorites.  Beyond the traditional breakfast items, you will also enjoy:

4. Jet Set with Mom @The High Museum of Art

Take your mom on a trip around the world in the High’s galleries this Mother’s Day. We’re traveling to different countries by looking at photos in the exhibition, Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Modern Century. Don’t have a passport? Don’t worry! You can make one in our workshops to keep track of where you and your mom land. Pack your suitcases and get ready for “High” flying fun.

6. Mother’s Day Celebration @ Imagine It! Children Museum

Create special memories on Mother’s Day with a trip to Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta.  Join the Imaginators for a sweet Mother’s Day story, “A Ride on Mother’s Back: A Day of Baby Carrying around the World” by Emery Bernhard.  Then, children can create a giant greeting card as a handmade gift from the heart for their Mom.

7. Mother’s Day Card Crafft @ AmericanGirl Atlanta

Show Mom she’s loved! Your girl can make Mother’s Day extra-special by decorating a pretty card and matching envelope, then adding a special message to Mom on the inside.

8. Memories with Moms @AmericanGirl Atlanta
