The Whole Experience:

Have you heard of Meehan’s—an Irish Pub with 4 locations in the Atlanta area? You may be thinking, why are you talking about a pub on a site devoted to families?  Well, this pub is not only a wonderful spot for your next date night sans kids, but it is the perfect family friendly place to bring the whole crew.

Their motto is “Irish Customs. Neighborhood Charm.” What a wonderful description. You walk in and see Irish treasures adorning the walls. The menu is inspired by Irish dishes. The pubs are seat yourself and feature large booths, and rustic tables with benches. Super casual, but yet there is a rustic cozy feel to the restaurant.

The noise level is perfect. Not too loud, but definitely not a venue that your children need to whisper through their meal—a parent’s worst nightmare!!!

“Neighborhood Charm” sums up the restaurant well. It is warm and inviting and it invites a family to come in, sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere as they make you feel at home and valued.

And the food. Oh the food, it exceeded all my expectations. It was sophisticated and varied. There were paleo options, gluten free options, vegetarian options, and rich indulgent options. The restaurant supports local farms and you can taste the freshness and quality of their produce in each bite.  I love that they change their menu out seasonally to showcase the freshest options.

The price? Not one meal was above $20 and the majority of options were under $15. It is an exceptional deal for the quality of products they use and the finesse they have mastered in highlighting flavors.

Patrons who have experience the culinary “wows” of the restaurant, with such favorites as Lobster Bisque, Devils on Horseback, and the Truffled Mac and Cheese, know that Meehan’s not only delivers on a fun and relaxed atmosphere, but also on flavor at reasonable prices.
