One of the favorite family activity during summer that we love is watching the movie under the stars. This year we have yet to find time to check out the outdoor movies in the park in our area. But cities and parks around Atlanta have been playing fun, family-friendly movies for the past couple months.

1. Movie Nights @ East Cobb Park
The whole family is sure to enjoy classic family movies at East Cobb Park. Plan to arrive early to picnic, enjoy the playground and park, and participate in childrens activities beginning at 6pm. Friends for the East Cobb Park will be selling concessions including popcorn, candy and drinks with proceeds benefiting Friends for the East Cobb Park. This week features ‘The Wizard of Oz’

2. Movie Under the Stars @ Mall of Georgia
Take the kids for night out at the Mall of Georgia for a free family fun and entertainment. Start the evening with live music from local band at 6:30pm and watch family-friendly movie under the stars at 8:30pm.
The movie for a great night out is Back to the Future 3.

3. Screen of the Green @ Candler Park
This week for the residents of Candler Park Neighborhood can enjoy Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs movie in the park with your kids at Polo Club at Atlanta in Cumming. It’s not just a movie. Head there early to enjoy family fun activities by local sponsors.

4. Movies in the Park @ Cumming
Another fun night under the stars with outdoor movie in the park is a great free family-friendly thing to do this Summer.
The Georgia Movie in the Park is a program sponsored by Southern Outdoor Cinema. They provide free movie nights outdoor, under the clear sky for Atlanta and surrounding cities residents.
