Taking your little ones to the local story time is probably one of the cheapest activities and one of the most rewarding things you can do. Not only will you get to enjoy fun storytelling, but you will help build the love of reading for your kids.
You can find many free story times in your local library; however, they are not very convenient for working moms like me. Unless I can take off during 2pm on the weekdays, I am out of luck.
