With 6 hours drive, it’s a stretch for a weekend getaway. But for a long weekend, it’s definitely worth it. This golf course and putt-putt capital has plenty of family-friendly attractions to satisfy everyone.

And if you don’t like fancy money sucking attractions, there are beaches, children’s museum and state park for you to get in touch with nature.

3. Chattanooga, Tennessee

Chattanooga is a fun place for kids! The downtown area is a great starting point to visit. Kids will love both the Tennessee Aquarium and the Creative Discovery Museum. A quick drive will take you to Incline Railway and Ruby Falls.
