Cascade Fun Center

The home to one of the largest skating rinks in Southwest Atlanta, Cascade Fun Center has something for everyone. In addition to skating, on select days and times, kids and adults can bounce around on a variety of inflatable slides, jumps and obstacle courses. The entire family can enjoy a great selection of competitive sports inflatables, go-karts and  amusement rides! Walk-ins welcome. Storytime at Southwest Library

This isn’t your typical storytime where kids only sit and listen to a storyteller read. Librarians intersperse songs and fingerplays to get the kids moving. Included at the end are show and tell presentations where children are encouraged to bring an item from home to talk about, which is great for developing their public speaking skills!

Adamsville Recreation Center & Natatorium

Visit the largest community center in the Cascade area. It boasts an Olympic size pool, therapy pool, basketball court, conference rooms, gym, and dance studio. The center hosts dozens of classes geared to youth, teens and adults. To learn more about this community gem call 404-505-3181.

The Wren’s Nest

Step back in time and hear the tales of the beloved Brer Rabbit characters created by Joel Chandler Harris. Told in the original dialect, children and adults get a taste of authenticity in this storytelling hour.  Walk-in tours of this historic house are also available.

Metroplex Atlanta

This all-in-one facility includes skating, fitness gym, playland inflatables, and bowling. Although it could use some sprucing up, it provides an outlet for family fun entertainment unlike any other venue in the area.
