See what fun workshops various attractions and museums have in store for kids this weekend for Valentine’s day. Most of these workshops are provided as part of kids program when you visit. Even though the program itself is free, you still have to pay for admission fee.
1. Toddler Thursday – Quilted Hearts @ The High Museum
Parents and their children ages 2 to 4 are encouraged to look at works of art within the Museum’s special exhibitions and permanent collections as well as to create a masterpiece to take home. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, create a heart-shaped paper quilt using various patterned paper and glue.

2. Valentine Craft @ Autrey Mill Nature Preserve
A variety of Valentine crafts, activities, and treats are available for children ages four and up. Parent must accompany child.

Time: 12 PM – 2 PM
Cost: $5 – members, $7 – non-members
3. Make It & Take It – Valentine Art @ Southern Museum
Students age six and up can participate in hands on projects with engaging information. All materials are provided.
Place: The Southern Museum of Civil War & Locomotive History, 2829 Cherokee Street, Kennesaw, GA
Date: February 13th (Sat)
Time: 10 AM – Noon
Cost: FREE with museum admission
