Free concerts in Atlanta

In high school I played the trumpet and participated in band. Through participating in band I gained exposure to world-renowned composers like Beethoven, George Gershwin and Scott Joplin. The camaraderie I experienced made band practice fun and memorable. Although I didn’t play in a band while attending Florida A&M University, I loved attending concerts there during my college years.

I’m glad that my husband and I decided to make Atlanta our home. It’s wonderful living in a city with several universities. A major advantage is the opportunity to hear great music, often for free! Our two-year old loves drumming and music and has sat mesmerized at several performances. Living here gives us ample opportunity to take advantage of concerts held on university campuses around town.
