Music is a great way to enjoy family time together and today we have a great list of free concerts in Atlanta for family fun from our Atlanta Parent Squad, Asia M. Hadley. In high school I played the trumpet and participated in band. Through participating in band I gained exposure to world-renowned composers like Beethoven, George Gershwin and Scott Joplin. The camaraderie I experienced made band practice fun and memorable. Although I didn’t play in a band while attending Florida A&M University, I loved attending concerts there during my college years.
I’m glad that my husband and I decided to make Atlanta our home. It’s wonderful living in a city with several universities. A major advantage is the opportunity to hear great music, often for free! Our two-year old loves drumming and music and has sat mesmerized at several performances. Living here gives us ample opportunity to take advantage of concerts held on university campuses around town.

Morehouse College Spring Concert
