I couldn’t believe that we are approaching 4th of July weekend already. And if you have no plan like us, here are popular 4th of July parades and fireworks around town that you can check them out.
1) Centennial Olympic Park – 4th of July Celebration: The fun for the whole family starts from noon till 5pm so arrive at the park early. Children’s activities are in the south end of the Park around the Fountain of Rings from noon to 5 p.m. Entertainment includes arts and crafts, face painting, performances, inflatables, stilt walkers and more! Or families can relax on the Great Lawn and splash in the world famous Fountain of Rings. The live entertainment will start at 6:30 pm till 9pm and end with the Firework.
Place: Centennial Olympic Park, Atlanta
Time: From Noon till 9:30pm
Tips:
– Arrive early for the family friendly activities and you might not want to stay till late at night. Kids might be restless and it might be way too late for them.
– Parking might be limited so look for alternative like MARTA. If you do choose to go with MARTA, definitely plan to leave early and catch the firework at the comfort of your home.
2) Lenox Square Legendary 4th: The 4th of July at Lenox Square starts off the fun for the whole family at 4pm with kids activities and food concession stands. This is one of the most impressive firework show in town. The firework will start at 9:30pm.
Place: Lenox Square Mall, Atlanta – Buckhead
Time: From 4pm till 9:30pm
Tips:
– Arrive early to cheer on the runners for the Peachtree Road Race
– If you really want to watch firework with kids, try to rent a hotel nearby for the best view and comfort for the whole family
3) Celebrate 4th of July at Mall of Georgia : The northern corridor of Atlanta metro area doesn’t have to worry about trekking downtown and fighting with traffic. Mall of Georgia puts out a great celebration with fun, family friendly activities ranging from giant inflatable, kids rides, and even car show for dads. The fun begins at noon so come prepare with hat and sunglasses as it will be HOT. After the firework, if you still have enough energy, hang out for post-firework entertainment at 10:30 pm.

4) Marietta Square 4th of July Celebration: The city of Marietta’s Fourth in the Park celebration begins at 10 a.m. and includes the Marietta Freedom parade, free live concerts, museum tours, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and fireworks finale.
Place: Marietta Square, Marietta
Time: From 10am till 10:30pm
Tips:
– Don’t forget sunglasses, hat, sunscreen and drink for little ones.
5) Fantastic Fourth Celebration at Stone Mountain: There will firework and laser shows from July 3rd to July 5th. The parking fee is $10 per vehicle. If you only plan to enjoy the firework, then you just have to pay for the parking but there will be no re-entry during that time. If you have an annual pass to Stone Mountain, it will be a great fun for the whole family with kids to enjoy the attraction before the firework.

Tips:
– Arrive early as the park might close once it reaches the capacity.
